Once again I have been making boxes from Matt Kenney’s book, “Build Better Boxes”. This one is a larger box that would fit pencils or other odds and ends. The lid appears to be hinged, but it is actually sitting in a small recess so that it opens and stays open as if on a hinge, but you can actually lift the box top off entirely. The tolerances to make that work were tricky, but it is so cool once you get it right. More details on the build in the blog.
